Palmer hurting, Washington resolves issues

<b>GEORGETOWN, Ky. –</b> Kelley Washington made it to the practice field Tuesday morning, but quarterback Carson Palmer never got a chance to throw to him. A case of Plantar Fascitis kept the Bengals No. 1 draft pick from working out in either of the team's two practices.

Palmer has been bothered by soreness in the muscle group on the sole of his right foot since a mini-camp in May. Against the New York Jets on Sunday, Palmer said it ripped and that it's actually a good thing because normal procedure to fix the Plantar Fascia is to have minor surgery performed on it and cut it. Now, no surgery will be needed and Palmer is expected to be able to play this Saturday...
