Three Receivers in Boots

It's never a good sign when a football player is wearing a protective boot on either of his foot. It's even worse when you've got three players from the same position group with the same footwear on, as was the case for the Bengals Wednesday with wide receivers Antonio Chatman, Andre Caldwell and Jerome Simpson.

They are three of the four wide receivers appearing on the Bengals official injury report as the team began preparing for Sunday's game at Houston against the Texans. Caldwell will not play due to a foot injury suffered while returning a kickoff in last Sunday's 38-10 loss against Pittsburgh, while Chatman (ankle) and Simpson (ankle) are both listed as simply not practicing on Wednesday.
