For all of you Bengals fans who wanted to see released rookie receiver Dez Briscoe back in tiger stripes after he was waived during Saturday's cut down to 53 players, we have disappointing news.

According to a league source, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will add former Bengals wide receiver Dez Briscoe.

Briscoe, a 2010 sixth-round draft pick, was one of the final cuts in Cincinnati on Saturday as the team whittled its roster from 75 to the opening-day maximum of 53 players.

Briscoe (6-2, 210) will make near the rookie minimum salary this season.

In his final appearance for the Bengals, Briscoe scored on a 50-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown in the preseason finale on Thursday against the Colts.

Briscoe played his college ball at Kansas.

He was beaten out for a Bengals roster spot by receivers Jerome Simpson and Quan Cosby.
