Polamalu Not Retiring ... Today

The Steelers' star safety still loves the game and intends on playing next season, but reminds fans that he never contemplates life beyond the current day.

PITTSBURGH – In spite of an injury that knocked him out of the seven games previous to his uneventful return last Sunday in Baltimore, Troy Polamalu said he is not considering retirement. Then again, that could change any day. "When you live day-to-day," Polamalu explained, "you can't talk years, you can't talk weeks, you can't talk months.
